How does the instant roof estimate work?

We geocode the address you enter, pull the building's roof outline and pitch from aerial measurement data, and apply installed-cost ranges for the material you choose, adjusted by local Virginia labour and disposal costs for that region.

Is the estimate a quote?

No. It is a planning range built from aerial measurements and regional pricing. The binding price is set in writing by the licensed roofing company after they inspect your roof, decking and flashing details in person.

What happens when I accept an estimate?

You sign a short agreement authorising us to share your request, and we route it to up to three roofing companies that list your market as a service area. Those companies are billed a per-lead fee; you are never charged by this directory.

What if the satellite measurement looks wrong?

You can override the measured roof area, pitch and number of storeys before you accept anything. If aerial coverage is missing for your building, the calculator falls back to your own measurements.
